Begin your journey in crafting a simple wooden spoon and open a world of creativity. Learn the introduction of wood carving, the proper way to use the tools and their care. Discover the art of creating a simple device and the possibilities of expanding into the field of woodcraft
Students will receive a kit including:
– Sloyd Knife
– Hook Knife (please state right or left handed)
– Detail Knife
– Chip Carving Knife
– Bowl Gouge
– 2 spoon Blanks
– Carving gloves (Please state Small, Medium, Large or X-Large)
Students must be 16 at the time of the class. Proof of age may be required. Parent/guardian of students under 18 must be on-site during class time. Parent/guardian must sign up separately if they want to participate in the class.
