There are many ways to contribute to the Institute for Historic and Educational Arts.

  • Volunteer your time as a demonstrator. Please contact us if you have a craft that would have been available during the Middle Ages (1500s). See our Volunteer page for more information.

Many of our classes are available to students age 12 and above. Class descriptions will specify if the age minimum is older than 12. Our goal is to provide a creative space for everyone.

If the student is under 18, please specify in the notes the name and age of the student when registering.

If the student is under the age of 18 at the time of the class, a parent or guardian must remain at the class location to supervise. The parent or guardian does not need to enroll in the class.

Classes materials and instruction are set up specifically for the number of students in the class. If a parent or guardian wishes to participate in the class, they will need to register.

Refunds will not be provided if a participant under the age specified is brought to the class. To maintain the quality of the learning environment and ensure the safety of all participants, we adhere to age restrictions.
